Meet our Parts Manager Gregg Holt—Mr. Gadget or Mr. BMW?

Gregg’s been wrenching on BMW and Moto Morini’s since 1964. He spent his earlier years as a fabricator actually making accessories, where he supervised the Chrome Plating Department for Connecticut Cycle Accessories (1978 – 1981). As the previous GM of BMW of Ft. Worth, he has over 27 years experience in the retail Motorcycle industry. Whether working in Service, Parts or General Manager positions, he’s been with BMW dealerships since he can remember, well 1982 to be exact.

He is a true wealth of knowledge and spirit when it comes to BMW—or any specialty parts and accessories—no one knows them better, or is willing to help you customize the bike of your dreams, then Gregg Holt.

In his spare time, he also loves to restore old English & Italian sportscars. And what does Gregg pick from his bike collection when he wants to ride? Well, he has several BMWs (one with a sidecar), 2 Moto Morini’s and a 1966 BSA Lightning. Let’s not forget to mention Gregg’s career as a mechanic and MotoGuzzi racing years with Doc Storm’s Cycle dealership in Grand Prairie, TX. Then there were those lazy days he spent building competition chainsaws for professional lumberjacks--using Kawasaki 250cc water-cooled engines!
